Industry Screenings New York

In the 6th year of its NY Industry Screenings, European Film Promotion (EFP) presents three European films to the industry on June 28th and 29th. The screenings, which are supported by the MEDIA Programme of the European Union, EYE Film Institute Netherlands, Irish Film Board and German Films, will be shown at the Tribeca Grand Hotel's screening room, and the respective sales agents will be in attendance. All of the films are seeking US distribution.
Screening in the series are STRICKEN, directed by Reinout Oerlemans and produced by Eyeworks Film & TV Drama, sales company is Goldcrest Films. The other two films are HIS & HERS from Ireland and THE SILENCE from Germany.

The New York Industry Screenings are targeted at invited industry professionals and, over the years, have provided a proven outlet for European films seeking US distribution. Since the program first began in 2005, approximately 25% of the films screened in this series have subsequently secured US distribution.
According to Penny Wolf, Head of Sales and Distribution for Goldcrest Films, "We are delighted to have Eyeworks' STRICKEN included in this year's screenings. This is a wonderful platform giving great support to the European film industry by creating an event which brings specialty European films directly to US buyers."
Claudia Landsberger, EYE Film Institute Netherlands and EFP Vice-President, further states, "With the rapid evolution of our industry at this time, we are more committed than ever to providing opportunities which help European films to find a wider audience".
