Carmen of the North

Carmen of the North is inspired by the book, the opera and the 1919 Dutch film 'Een Carmen van het Noorden'. Police inspector Joz falls in love with the murder suspect Carmen. He leaves his fiancée and loses his job, but when he realises that Carmen values freedom more than anything else, he becomes the man he does not want to be (100', 35mm).
