Dutch short wins Very Short FF 2010

BORN AND RAISED, a mini short film directed and produced by Eelko Ferwerda for Waanzee, is the winner of the Grand Prix of the Very Short Film Festival 2010. The Very Short Film Festival focuses on short films up to 3 minutes. Festival screenings take place in more than 40 cities around the world. This year Amsterdam was added to the festival screening list. The award ceremony took place in Paris.

BORN AND RAISED is a humorous short film about Elsa and Bo who are expecting their first baby. Bo composes a song for his child that he does not call a song but a ‘sound painting’.

Previously BORN AND RAISED was selected for the International Competition of the Short Film Festival in Clermont-Ferrand. The film premiered at the Netherlands Film Festival in Utrecht.
