Red-End wins at Premiers Plan

The Dutch short stopmotion animation film Red-End and the Seemingly Symbiotic Society by Robin Noorda and Bethany de Forest won the "Prix du Public" in the category European Short Films during the festival Premiers Plans in Angers, France. The festival took place from January 22-31, 2010.

Previously, Red-End and the Seemingly Symbiotic Society was part of the opening programme of the Holland Animation Film Festival on November 4th, 2009 and won the MovieSquad Award. At the International Animated Film Festival Cinanima in Espinho, Portugal, Red-End was awarded the prize for Best Film. Red-End also won the Award for Best Film by the Estonian Academy of Arts' animation students - "Brain-tap“ during the Tallinn Animation Film Festival - Animated Dreams.

In Red-End and the Seemingly Symbiotic Society ant Red-End differs from the rest and tries an experiment. The film is set in an unusual fairylike world.

Red-End was made to be shown in the extremely high resolution 4K and takes part in the international Cinegrid Network.

Bethany de Forest and Robin Noorda work as visual artists, filmmakers, designers and animators.
